| Jewish Home Foundation
In 1920, five visionary women with a passionate cause went door to door, asking support from the Jewish community to create a Jewish Home in Rochester. Their diligent success led to the formation of our Jewish Home. As they believed back then, we, too, predicate our commitment that seniors and older adults deserve to age gracefully, successfully and with dignity.
Since those early days, our community has consistently stepped forward to support the highest quality care, innovative programs and a quality of life for seniors. An independent organization, the Jewish Home Foundation was established to secure philanthropic support from generous individuals and families who understand the important mission of Jewish Senior Life and its family of caregivers.
Whether earmarked for a specific purpose or for general support, private generosity continues to make a critical difference. Through private generosity, we can offer quality of life programs such as creative arts therapy, musical performances and exercise programs. We can provide a Jewish presence, a commitment to Jewish values and opportunities for spiritual growth for people of all faiths. We can continue to seek out innovative options to help people age in place. And private generosity allows us to pursue our goal of providing care for all Jewish people, regardless of financial status.
There are a variety of convenient ways of giving. Your contribution assures that the needs of our residents are met with warmth, dignity and compassion -- and that Jewish Senior Life remains the standard for quality care and innovative options for older adults in our community.
